Training Program on Soil Bearing Capacities: Enhancements with Local Case Studies The Association of Consulting Engineers Pakistan (ACEP) successfully conducted a 1.0 CPD training program titled "Soil Bearing Capacities: Improvements with Local Case Studies" on June 22, 2024, at the Sir Syed University of Engineering and Technology, Karachi. This event, organized in collaboration with ForteSOL (Pvt) Ltd., was attended by government officials, consultants, constructors, builders, and developers. The training focused on techniques to enhance load-bearing capacity, reduce construction costs, and adopt sustainable soil solutions. Resource persons, including experts like Irtaza Abbas, Ali Abbas Zaidi, and Naveed Anwar, shared insights on improved safety, stability, and eco-friendly practices in soil consolidation. The program featured interactive sessions, local case studies, and practical solutions, equipping participants with actionable knowledge to implement in their projects.
